  • Precinct strategy and planning: Led 3 separate projects (Arden Urban Renewal Precinct, Fishermans Bend, Bundoora R&D Park) that defined an industry focus, education model and go-to-market strategy to foster innovation and collaboration between industry and universities and support investment and employment generation
  • Cost Optimisation: Leading a cost optimisation review for a TAFE provider to reduce the salary and non-salary cost base
  • Activity Costing and Decision Making Capability Uplift: Led a project at leading University to develop a detailed approach and model to allow the university to understand the revenues, cost and margins of its core activities in detail across the organisation and then leverage this to help organisation leaders better use financial evidence to inform decision making
  • Strategy review for a global student accommodation developer and operator: Conducted a review of the asset portfolio, market opportunities and internal capabilities and supported the Board and senior executive to reset the organisation strategy
  • Demand driven campus development: Developed a demand driven strategy for development of a university campus
  • Transport Access Strategy: Developed a strategy, including suite of initiatives, for addressing future transport access and parking needs of a large university campus
  • Strategic planning: Facilitated development of a strategic plan for a leading provider of children’s palliative care services
  • Growth strategy development: Developed a centre network expansion strategy for a provider of services for children with autism spectrum disorder
  • Cyber Security CRC: Led the development of the application for the Cyber Security CRC which was successfully awarded $50M in Commonwealth funding
  • University Transparent Costing Model: Led a project to develop a detailed approach and model to allow the university to understand the revenues, cost and margins of its core activities in detail across the organisation
  • Research Platform Sustainable Funding Model: Led a project for a Go8 university to understand the true costs of operating and investing in its research platforms
  • Go8 Vice Chancellor Strategy Brief: Developed a paper to brief the incoming VC of a large Australian university outlining three strategic options, including key driving initiatives, to respond successfully to market deregulation, align international with overall university strategy and align strategies across faculties
