Strategic Reform in the education system | Afghans for Progressive Thinking Organization (APT)

Led a three-year project with 14 public universities in Afghanistan to transform education, promote peace and counter intolerance through the in-depth analysis of the higher education policy and strategic plans and by promoting critical thinking based on two social theories of change – critical thinking theory of change and contact theory of change.

Organized Afghanistan’s National Youth Conference in eight diverse committees tackling the issues concerning Afghan youth and supporting each committee to develop policies for the major amendments to the Afghanistan National Youth Policy.

As a member of UNOY Asia Pacific Fundraising Committee, supported APT and the newly established member organizations in terms of organization development across organizational policy making and fundraising strategy development by developing actional fundraising plans, donor mapping, donor engagement, building good relationship with potential donors, etc.

As a core committee member of Asia youth advocacy team (AsiaYAT), developed AsiaYAT’s advocacy program by conducting a regional needs assessment, context analysis, identifying advocacy priorities and developing the M&E framework of this program.
