David Mackay – SPP appoints new Partner

SPP welcomes David Mackay as Partner, Sports Media and FMCG

SPP is pleased to announce the appointment of David Mackay to Partner, Sports, Media and Entertainment, and Retail and FMCG.

David joined SPP in 2008 having led major business process reform and ICT renewal at Toll (through Patrick merger and Asciano demerger).

Since joining SPP, David has had a major impact on clients in the practices in which he leads, as well as considerable contributions on projects in many domains including Education, Government, Research, and Financial Services.

In 2015, David relocated with his family to Sydney where he has helped establish SPP’s Sydney office.  His leadership has enhanced SPP’s offering to consumer and sport organisations including:

• the development of SPP’s Sports Sustainability Index, driving insights into off-field performance of sporting organisations;
• identifying key lessons from European Sporting organisations’ approach to strategy;
• development of approaches to use structured and unstructured data to improve customer engagement; and
• leading pricing analysis and strategy for some of Australia’s major retail brands.
