Advancing CSIRO’s research through a Managed Data Ecosystem

SPP’s Managing Partner Phil Noble is chairing the upcoming Public Sector Network (PSN) Innovation Showcase next Tuesday, 13 August 2019. With a dedicated stream on the topic of Technology and Tools, CSIRO’s CIO Brendan Dalton, together with Phil Noble, will open the discussion talking about their work in data transformation. The conference is focused on continuing to deliver a smarter and more sustainable government, with keynotes on Transformational leadership and mindsets for the future of work and the much anticipated Leading ICT and Digital Transformation in the Public Sector to be presented by Paul James, Chief Executive Officer, Department of Internal Affairs (NZ). More than 200 public sector leaders from state, local and federal government will be in attendance, covering a broad range of topics around business transformation, innovation and process improvement; operations and strategy; finance and procurement; ICT and cyber security; customer experience and citizen centric service design; and, digital transformation, and the creation of a Managed Data Ecosytem (MDE). Having supported clients across a range of industry sectors including Government, Research, and Financial Services, Phil has helped senior executives make the case for data-driven transformation, including the development of data strategy, data operating models, and the practical development of use cases and requirements.
